W500

W500 All-in-one Web Guiding System

The W500 is an all-in-one web guiding system for roll-to-roll production lines. It integrates guiding control, sensor feedback and actuator correction to keep web materials running in the correct position during unwinding, rewinding, printing, coating, laminating, slitting and converting processes.

By detecting web edge, printed line or contrast line position and correcting offset automatically, the W500 helps improve material alignment, reduce waste, and maintain stable downstream processing quality.

Key Features

  • All-in-one web guiding structure with touchscreen operation.
  • Automatic web offset correction for roll materials.
  • Supports edge guiding, line guiding and center guiding according to application setup.
  • Compatible with ultrasonic, infrared, photoelectric and CCD sensor options.
  • Servo motor and encoder feedback support fast and accurate correction.
  • Suitable for unwinding, rewinding, slitting, laminating, coating, printing and converting lines.
  • Optional splice-table configuration is available for easier roll changing and production operation.

Typical Applications

• Lithium battery, label, flexible printing, paper bag, packaging, film and textile production lines.
• Printing and label converting lines requiring stable web position.
• Coating and laminating processes where material edge drift affects coating or lamination quality.
• Slitting, rewinding and unwinding sections requiring stable roll tracking.
• Film, paper, label, foil, nonwoven and similar roll materials.

Installation and Selection Notes

  • Confirm web width, material type, line speed and available installation space before selection.
  • Select sensor type according to material edge condition: transparent film, clear edge, printed line, contrast mark or irregular edge.
  • Confirm whether the application needs edge guiding, line guiding or center guiding.
  • Correction stroke and roller configuration should be selected according to machine layout and material tension.
  • For roll-changing workflows, consider the version with splice table.

Frequently Asked Questions

Bainary is an independent technology and international trade company. We support overseas customers through application review, model selection, export coordination, and long-term project follow-up, backed by selected Chinese manufacturing resources.
Please send material type, web width, line speed, machine type, installation position, defect type, sample photos or videos, required inspection target and available space. If the project is about web guiding or tension control, photos of the current machine section are also useful.
No. Transparent film, printed labels, paper, foil and nonwoven materials may need different cameras, lighting, sensors or installation positions. A short technical check before quotation reduces the chance of selecting the wrong system.
A web inspection system helps operators observe high-speed printed images more clearly. A 100% print inspection system automatically checks the full web and records defects with software. The right choice depends on defect type, speed, width and required quality control level.
If the web moves sideways, wrinkles or tension changes heavily, the camera may not see the same print area consistently. Stable guiding and tension often make inspection more reliable.
Yes. For uncertain cases, Bainary can collect samples, videos and defect descriptions first, then coordinate feasibility evaluation before formal quotation.
Flexible packaging, labels, paper converting, film and foil converting, nonwoven production, coating, lamination, slitting, rewinding, printing and bag-making lines are typical applications.
Bainary first checks the application information. If the requirement is clear, we recommend a product direction and quotation path. If not, we ask for missing line parameters, sample images or videos before pushing the project forward.
