W500 All-in-one Web Guiding System

The W500 is an all-in-one web guiding system for roll-to-roll production lines. It integrates guiding control, sensor feedback and actuator correction to keep web materials running in the correct position during unwinding, rewinding, printing, coating, laminating, slitting and converting processes.

By detecting web edge, printed line or contrast line position and correcting offset automatically, the W500 helps improve material alignment, reduce waste, and maintain stable downstream processing quality.

Installation and Selection Notes

Confirm web width, material type, line speed and available installation space before selection.
Select sensor type according to material edge condition: transparent film, clear edge, printed line, contrast mark or irregular edge.
Confirm whether the application needs edge guiding, line guiding or center guiding.
Correction stroke and roller configuration should be selected according to machine layout and material tension.
For roll-changing workflows, consider the version with splice table.

Are you a factory?

What information should I send before asking for a quotation?

Please send material type, web width, line speed, machine type, installation position, defect type, sample photos or videos, required inspection target and available space. If the project is about web guiding or tension control, photos of the current machine section are also useful.

Can one inspection system work for all materials?

No. Transparent film, printed labels, paper, foil and nonwoven materials may need different cameras, lighting, sensors or installation positions. A short technical check before quotation reduces the chance of selecting the wrong system.

What is the difference between web inspection and 100% print inspection?

A web inspection system helps operators observe high-speed printed images more clearly. A 100% print inspection system automatically checks the full web and records defects with software. The right choice depends on defect type, speed, width and required quality control level.

Why do web guiding and tension control matter for inspection?

If the web moves sideways, wrinkles or tension changes heavily, the camera may not see the same print area consistently. Stable guiding and tension often make inspection more reliable.

Can Bainary help with non-standard inspection cases?

Yes. For uncertain cases, Bainary can collect samples, videos and defect descriptions first, then coordinate feasibility evaluation before formal quotation.

Which applications are suitable?
