Web Guiding Sensors and Actuators

Web guiding sensors and actuators are the key components used to build a complete roll-to-roll web guiding system. Sensors detect the web edge, printed line, color contrast, reference mark or material position, while actuators and correction frames provide the physical movement required to bring the web back to the target position.

This folder should support one overview page plus individual model pages for A100, A100-W1, A200, A300, A300F, A400, A600, A1000 and C100/C100F. Each model page should include product image, short application explanation and confirmed specification parameters where available.

A200 Ultrasonic Edge Web Guide Sensor Ultrasonic edge sensor for paper, printed materials, film, transparent film and ultra-transparent film. Not suitable for breathable materials such as nonwoven fabric.
A300 Optical Fiber Web Guide Sensor High-temperature optical fiber through-beam sensor for paper, printed film, translucent film, nonwoven fabric, gauze, screen window, metal and other materials.
A300F Optical Fiber Reflection Web Guiding Sensor Reflection-type optical fiber sensor for special sensing layouts where through-beam installation is not ideal.
A400 CCD Image Sensor CCD image sensor for printed lines, rubber edges, color contrast targets, center correction and more complex guiding references.
A600 CCD Image Sensor Area-scan CCD image sensor for tracking patterns, lines, edges and feature marks where real-time image display is required.
A1000 Full-width Light Curtain Web Guide Sensor Full-width sensing option for broader web-position detection or applications where a wider measurement area is required.

A100-W1 Web Guide Sensor for Edge Detection

Wide-mouth infrared sensor for mesh materials, rubber materials and wider edge-detection gaps. Not recommended for ultra-transparent materials.

A200 Ultrasonic Edge Web Guide Sensor

Ultrasonic edge sensor for paper, printed materials, film, transparent film and ultra-transparent film. Not suitable for breathable materials such as nonwoven fabric.

  • Japanese Fuji high-precision ultrasonic component with 0.01 mm resolution.
  • Workshop ambient noise has minimal effect on the ultrasonic detection method.
